We love visiting Bigelow Hollow State Park. The trails are great. It is very picturesque. We walked for a couple hours then had a fire in one of the many picnic sites. Awesome time.
Beautiful place for a winter hike. Challenging and easy hiking. Parking can be a bit challenging lots not plowed in winter
It was a great location. Great swimming, place to picnic... make sure you have cash on you for parking if you go on a weekend, as they don't accept credit. Also make sure to bring your own charcoal. Starting the fire was hard due to the wet grill, that wasn't designed to drain the water out, but we managed. Fairly clean, although many people don't take their own trash away as their supposed to. So there was some lying around.
